Whatever the problem, community is the answer
As a recent article in The Nation, "The Revolution Has Already Occurred",
mentions, "The revolution exists in little bits everywhere, but not
much has been done to connect its dots." Innovative and effective local
solutions to the pressing problems with which we're faced are emerging
everywhere. We're now at a critical moment to share what we're learning
as individuals, organizations and communities.
At Berkana, we believe that whatever the problem, community is the
answer. By turning to each other with our burning questions and
concerns, we invite the discovery that the creative leadership we need
is already present. In the coming months we are offering three Art of
Hosting opportunities for individuals to come together through
meaningful conversation and action.
This is an invitation to connect the dots and effectively learn how to
create the world that we wish for together. |

The Berkana Institute works in partnership with a rich diversity of
people around the world who strengthen their communities by working
with the wisdom and wealth already present in their people, traditions
and environment.
Berkana and our partners share the clarity that whatever the problem,
community is the answer. We prepare for an unknown future by creating
strong and sustainable relationships, by wisely stewarding the earth’s
resources, and by building resilient communities. We rely on the belief
that human beings are caring, generous and want to be together.
We are learning how to live the future now.
